I am NK Manjunatha Technical Writer having * years of experience in Technical Writing field.

Right now I am working as Lead-Technical Writer.

So far, I have worked with different kind of technical documents such as User Manuals, Installation manuals, Online help, Release Notes etc. I also worked on converting existing manuals into xml documents

The tools I have very much used during my work are MS office package, RoboHelp, XML Author and Framemaker. I have used other documenting supporting tools, such as Adobe photoshop, SnagIt, Fullshot, Visio, Rational Charm NT.

I have worked with configuration management tool, version control tool such as Clearcase, Concentra

Right Now I am working on converting existing word document-user manuals into XML Documents. Here We are using XMetal Author as authoring tool. We download the both template and existing manuals from Concentra date base tool . By using XMetal we are encoding the content. Then we are storing the same completed XML document into Concentra. We are working on different User manuals. Here we are working on HP printers manuals. Here we find Designjet, LaserJet, Service manuals.
