This ITPS team which provides support to SAP BA’s for scheduling and monitoring batch jobs, script jobs and etc. Support for printers in SAP like creating and modifying printers.
Responsibilities
Working on the Job Scheduler tool AUTOSYS from CA (Computer Associates) running on IBM’s AIX 5.3 Platform.

Client Description
Apple Production Support (APS) is an IS&T services group that provides round the clock support to IS&T applications. Services to IS&T hosts and manages various applications that supports Apple’s business functions like Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain management, Customer Relationship Management, HR, etc. These applications undergo multiple upgrades and enhancements throughout its life based on business and technical needs.
Project details
This Project primarily provides enhancement and support for various Apple R&D and HR applications like Sonar, Virtual Edge, Merlin, Espresso, Time and Attendance and etc. Support application software in production for operations of the company and we are responsible for co-ordination and planning. Monitor and investigate issues with production applications and identifying the operating problems within production areas.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and support of Autosys jobs and take action on failed jobs.
Debugging and fixing the issues raised by the users of the application.
Handling crisis situations and tracking affecting business users.
Maintaining work history for all the tickets until it is closed down.
Providing on call support during weekends for high priority issues.
Steady state maintenance of over 150+ IS&T applications

A Directory Service (DS) is an application system that stores and organizes information in a directory, storing the data in a structured manner and provides access to that information. Directory services acts as a central repository for person, groups, maps, applications, conference rooms and etc.
DS Provides authentication Services (LDAP/SSO-AppleConnect) to all
IS&T Applications and to most of the Apple’s websites.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and support of Autosys jobs and take action on failed jobs
Receiving the user and auto tickets and resolving them.
Resolving the issues and reporting it to user/on-site co-ordinates as per the severity.
Knowledge transfer and transitioning of applications from development teams
Coordinate with other IS&T support groups like Database Administrators, System
Engineers and Operations to maintain the overall application health and security.
Miscellaneous housekeeping activities.
Raising Change Request(CR), if any changes in the production.
