Access research tools and various main frame programs to obtain information and procedures on issues encountered.

Use P.C. software programs to access workflow assignment tools, document retrieval, and computer generated online output.

Worked with various District Offices resolving issues encountered and set up the service request database on their personnel computers.

Provide direct user support and answer questions for various control units in the department along with numerous Tax reporting agencies in and out of New York State.

Execute AIX scripts to perform downloads of imaged returns on the UNIX RS/6000 system and maintain daily status records for same.

Supervised Quality Control unit for 3 years overseeing 6 employees.

Participated in a team project working on the feasibility of telecommuting for NYS Tax & Finance.
