Business Systems Analyst II
Worked initially as support and lead developer for the Pharmaceutical database application Clintrace 4.1. My duties includes solving all user issues, developing custom reports, applying patches and fixes released by the vendor, and all validation activities involved in the process. Worked on the implementation and complete validation of the new version called Empirica Trace 4.2. My role changed to Validation Manager as I was responsible for running the complete project using MS Project 2007, running the validation which included writing all validation documents, writing test scripts, and executing test scripts. I was responsible for 4 other team members. I also assisted the QA department in client audits. I was then promoted to Business Systems Analyst II, which involved managing 2 team member full-time, working with the business to gather requirements for changes to our database, wrote documents and maintained validation documents. Due to my Database Administration experience, I also worked with out full-time DBA as his back-up.

Worked on Oracle AERS database implementation at Pharmaceutical/Biotech and CRO organizations. Main responsibilities have included DBA ( installation of databases, tuning databases, performing backups, and patching the database and software ). Other activities have included working on database modeling and warehousing, custom development using PL/SQL. Those custom development activities include creating reports and web reports using PL/SQL, modifying part of applications code written in Packages, Procedures, and Functions, and adding custom code to add email notification functionality. Sr. Systems Developer
Started as a developer for Oracle Clinical/TMS. Performed support on both application as well as worked on an in-house developer system, using Oracle Forms and Reports, to work in conjunction with Oracle Clinical. After this, I became the support for the Clintrace 2.6 application and then lead the effort to move to version 2.8 and then 2.9. I then became the PM for an Oracle Pharmaceuticals Application implementation (Oracle AERS v4.3). Primary Duties included: installation of the database and AERS 4.3 software, installing database patches, customizations to code, and implementing new reports and backup procedures. Assisting with all AERS validation activities, to include: writing user requirements, identifying test scripts to be written, writing validation plan, and writing and executing test scripts. Oracle Developer for an in-house application developed using Oracle 9i SQL, PL/SQL to include writing procedures, Developer 2000 Forms and Reports 6i that was used in conjunction with Oracle*Clinical.
