Managed design, purchase and shipment of equipment to erect a high shrink plastic barrier film extrusion machine at Zhuhai, China, PRC. This included 19 weeks of on site management for installation, check out, start up, operator training and operating standards and procedures as well as providing on site designs as needed of air handling and water chilling systems associated with the line. Provided on site technical consulting advice for installation and start up of an Electron Beam Curing machine and a Bag Making machine used to finish the film.

Traveled to Spain, Germany, Poland, New Zealand and Australia to review and recommend improvements to Vector’s Global plastic films finishing operations.

Managed the removal, marking, crating and storage of a seven layer extrusion line in Florida.

Managed the opening of a factory in Indiana that was vacant for 3 years. The goal was to centralize the distribution and manufacturing equipment for more efficient operation of the business. This included complete clean up and painting from ceiling to floor, reactivation of boilers, air compressors, fire sprinkler systems, installation of warehouse storage racks to implement opening of the distribution center, new power wiring and/or rewiring of four areas to facilitate installation of six bag making machines, five shirring machines, one seven layer extrusion line and one eight color printing press. All installations required detailed plans to coordinate removals of the machines from their previous locations and reinstallation in the reopened facility without interrupting production capacity.
