Responsibilities include:
Be familiar with and/or have experience and understanding of all tasks and responsibilities associated with Data Entry technician I and II, and perform as necessary.
Be aware of project resource requirements to ensure there are adequate resources allocated to meet client timelines, and liaise with Manager as necessary.
Set weekly productivity targets to ensure accurate forecasting of workload, and measurement of productivity to highlight areas where process efficiency can be improved.
Monitor the training of all direct reporting staff, preparing individual training plans and ensuring all entry staff are fully trained in SOP’s and WPG’s, tasks and systems.
Measure and provide feedback on staff performance to ensure development of position skills.
Responsible for overall quality and quantity of data entry and associated activities.
Ensure consistency of tasks and procedures across all standards and within-client projects.Maintain data entry staff activities, run backlog reports on data entry, send out assignments and resolve data entry issues that occur.
Run monthly revenue data entry backlog for all studies including International.
Maintain weekly spreadsheet on scanning, indexing and data entry backlog for in house studies.
Responsible for staff on scanning and indexing process/work flow. Resolve scanning and indexing issues that occur and reports.
Maintain QC review of patient profiles vs data base. Including 100% and the error rate, for all studies.
Knowledgeable of 4 different OC data bases.
Running reports in Omnie veiw and Unix.
Responsible for creating patient positions in the Amgen data base, having manager access.
Responsible for gathering data entry metric in different OC data bases for managers monthly, as well as maintaining clean record reports on the data entry.
Creating new study guidelines. This includes those that are being assigned to India. I am the contact person responsible for overseeing the studies when issues arise.
Review WPG's and SOP's.
Review DMP before the start of a new study. Summit changes to the manager for approval and document in the guidelines
Manage staff, hire new staff and write up yearly performance evaluations
Responsible for conducting weekly Data entry Initiative meetings with International and work on ways to conduct data entry more consistently without International offices

Responsibilities include:
Understand all tasks and responsibilities associated with Clinical Data Technician I/Data Entry Technician I,.
Test entry screens of databases in development.
Update the database as necessary under CDA supervision.
Point person for data entry issues on specific projects, including DE status,.
Assist with review of data entry conventions
Train staff on study specific guidelines and procedures. (Including SOP’s)
Update guidelines as needed.
Monitor productivity and quality of work of Data Technicians.
