DOUGLAS P. BRANDT
Since 2002, I have worked in Tallahassee as a director of operations and master designer for architectural firms. With over 33 years of experience in the architectural industry, I have managed very complex and detailed projects, as well as been responsible for the financial performance of projects of considerable magnitude and risk to the firms. Typical projects included major construction management, design-build projects, and complex facility design. My extensive and varied career has taken me from master designer to technical involvement in the areas of architecture, engineering and construction; to strategic development for both the private and public sectors.
As an experienced professional who independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria, I have the analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure exceptional client service, as well as the skills to balance team and individual responsibilities with dependability and timeliness.
Day-to-day operations included design; developing work plans; review and approve schedules, budgets, project milestone dates, and work products, as well as mentoring staff. Managing the development and maintenance of effective policies, plans, and practices; serving as a direct liaison to assure progress as well as fostering constructive relations while managing daily operations are skills I could bring to the company. Please carefully review my resume for your full consideration.
If you have the need, I am also available on a limited “contract” basis if desired.
Sincerely,
Douglas P. Brandt
