Received applications, processed loans, and performed necessary servicing on housing and farm loans. Prepared legal notices and newspaper articles for pending foreclosures. Held foreclosure sales and reported the results to the U. S. Marshal. Helped organize outreach programs. Helped to raise the standard of living of area residents by assisting with housing and or increasing farm income. Lowered the loan delinquency rate in one particular office from approximately 30% to 8% in a two-year period, thus helping to balance the national budget.
Reviewed plans and specifications and inspected construction from footer to final. Prepared repair lists and inspected repairs. Reviewed and awarded Government contracts for the securing of abandoned properties and to assure that grounds are maintained. Acting with District Office staff, I reviewed, processed, inspected, and collected loans on court houses, hospitals, hospital equipment, and water and sewer lines. Supervised subordinate employees. Disbursed loan funds on multi-million dollar projects, maintaining which project division received was to receive disbursement.
