I am currently employed by Faith Restoration where I repair homes damaged from water and fire as well as complete other various remodeling projects including demolition, tile, wood/laminate flooring, drywall, paint, trim work, light framing, and minor plumbing and electrical as needed.

Floorhand

I worked as a floorhand on a triple, walking, diesel/electric drilling rig with a Varco top drive. I spent several months as the Safety Captain. I worked tirelessly to maintain a safe and clean work environment. My responsibilities included:

• Maintenance on National Oilwell triplex pumps and Brandt King Cobra shakers. I performed “mud checks” to ensure the weight, viscosity, and ph levels of the drilling fluid were correct.

• Performed maintenance on Cat 3512 diesel motors including bringing them on and off line.

• Proficient with ST80 Iron Roughneck, and working any position on the floor and board.

• Worked with pipe wrangler and hydraulic tugger hoists.

• Familiar with KVAR system, SCR house, Koomey house, and Choke house.

Licensed Demolition Contractor

I obtained my K 57 Commercial and Residential wrecking license, and started a demolition contracting company. I completed several commercial and residential projects. I worked closely with general contractors and other sub-contractors in order to provide a quality product in a timely and safe manner. I was also able to complete other work incidental to the demolition, such as drywall, painting, tile, and wood flooring.

Gould Construction March/2000-May/2004

Heavy Highway and Utility Contractor

I worked as an on-site truck driver and general laborer for Gould Construction. My responsibilities included:

• Driving a water truck and occasionally a tandem dump truck on site, to deliver material, provide dust control, and ensure the material was hydrated properly.

• Provided general labor including laying ductile iron pipe, and assisting with the installation of other utilities.

United States Marine Corps January/1996-January/2000

Infantry Sergeant E-5

I enlisted in the Marines infantry and worked my way up to the rank of Sergeant in three years. My responsibilities included:

• The day to day training and supervision of up to 36 Marines.

• I spent a year as the radio operator where I worked closely with the Platoon Commander in order to provide accurate reports, and learned to call for artillery fire and close air support.

• I was a pistol instructor on the pistol range and was responsible for the training and qualification of Marines.

• I was involved in an anti terrorism mission in Kuwait, among other deployments overseas.

• I received combat lifesaver CPR and first aid training.

PCL Civil Constructors 1995-1996

Radiation Worker II at an UMTRA mill tailings clean up project.

Prior to shipping to boot camp I worked on the UMTRA site near Rifle Colorado where I:

• Worked on the decontamination pad, where I decontaminated vehicles in order for them to be safe to enter public streets.

• Used proper Personal Protective Equipment in order to work safely and to avoid contamination.

Mesa State College

I am currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have three years finished where I made the Dean’s List most semesters.

McMurray Training Center

I successfully completed the floor hand course necessary to work for Patterson UTI. This course contained RIGPASS and CPR certification.
