• Fredericksburg High School Aerospace Program: researched and developed new materials to use as solid rocket fuel grain. These rocket motors were tested on site at Fredericksburg H.S. Worked on the Rebird-11H project as a junior and senior, designing the fuel grain to maximize thrust and burn efficiency. The program remains the only high school to build a rocket from scratch and launch at a federal missile range (White Sands, NM).

As a basketball camp counselor, I was responsible for creating workouts and instructing younger children the fundamentals of basketball.

As the rocket camp instructor, I was expected to stand in front of the classroom and instruct via blackboard or visual demonstration. Maintained a safe and productive environment when children were allowed to construct their own small rocket. As the class head, I interacted with each child’s parents to explain to them how his/her child was doing in the camp.
