StageOne Events - Brentwood, CA (11/2008 – Present)

Corporate event planning company and parent owner of National Reunion Services.

Application Consultant/Developer

Currently designing and developing various applications to facilitate the needs of the two organizations to effectively manage their events and reunions in a centralized online environment. In charge of evaluating existing legacy applications and interviewing principal users to re-engineer existing functionality and process flow. Also tasked with defining additional specifications and incorporating those into a new multitenant architecture allowing the application to be leased to other organizations in a SaaS revenue model.

Key Accomplishments:

• Reverse engineered and documented the existing legacy FileMaker Pro applications

• Created new MSSQL databases and architecture to accommodate new requirements and load expectations

• Converted existing screens to new web user interface while improving process flow

• Incorporated electronic payment integration with gateways such as Authorize.net and Paypal

A venture backed $32M online web application company providing an enterprise level CRM and Sales Process Management system for automotive dealership industry.

Product Manager/Application Analyst/QA Manager (5/2005 – 9/2008)

Served as lead product manager and business analyst for the 5square product line. As product manager, defined the product roadmap, generated and reviewed product ideas to match customer and market demands, created requirements documents, technical designs and enhanced overall usability. As application analyst, was responsible for reviewing all new product requests and how they integrate into the application and the existing architecture. As QA Manager, personally tested all new features going into the product, trained and managed the offshore QA team and managed all bug tracking in the issue management system.

• Completed 10+ lead certifications for OEMs including GM, Audi, Nissan, Infinity, VW and Ford

• Defined, implemented and oversaw 8 major releases within tight deadlines

Lead Developer – Co Founder(8/2001 – 6/2004)

Responsible for creating product designs, generating prototypes, technical designs, and JSP coding of several sections of the application. Routinely met with the development team and distributed tasks as well as advised team members on business logic requirements and requested features. Researched new technologies and initiated development efforts in various areas ranging from form printing to 3rd party data importing. Heavily involved in most areas of application development including CRM, Auto Financing, Forms, Database design, Reporting, Email integration, Credit Processing and 3rd party integration.

• Designed and developed the “Dealsnap” and “Ratesnap” car dealer management and desking systems

• Created application user interface including branded versions for all makes of auto manufacturers

Root9, Inc. – Mountain View, CA (2/1999 – 8/2001)

Lead Developer – Founder

Responsible for product design, implementation, and maintenance of Root9’s “Ugenerate” Flash based online website creator. Conceived and managed the Igenerate web hosting service including network and server administration, monitoring, tech support and new accounts for both domestic and international clients. Lead Developer/Engineer

In charge of all web programming of the WebTrips Cartoon Network. Senior sound engineer in charge of music and sound effects for animations. MIS and network administrator for all local PCs and remote servers. Purchased equipment, assembled, loaded and configured software, completed performance tuning, and trained users. Performed system upgrades and troubleshooting. Responsible for system analysis and project management for the development of a custom advertising system involving full motion commercial-like animations.

Equipment manufacturer specializing in carbon fiber centrifuge rotors for the biotech industry.
