• Shadowed the business manager/owner to gain understanding of how a business is operated and controlled on a daily bases. Tested a variety of projects and saw first hand, the many levels that a project undergoes during construction and before it is considered complete.

Drafter and Project Management Internship, U.S Energy-Plasma Arc, Clover, SC, Summer 2008

• Junior drafter on the plasma arc project, which purpose was to develop a design for a factory that changes waste in to diesel fuel.

• Gained a greater understanding of the time duration, and what steps and details must to go into a project before it is completed. Earned the responsibility and a better understanding of the project management position by being given charge of the junior drafters for the project.

Drafter and Shadowing Internship, Decker Industries, Clover, SC, Summer 2007

• Gained clearity of what a Professional Civil Engineer does, and how these responsibilities differ from a regular engineer.

• Junior drafter on a project called Pasco, which was a conveyed belt design for a factory, developing proficiency in AutoCAD.
