Through my previous work experiences I have been employed as a lobbyist, owned my own Public Relations firm, owned and operated three restaurants, and hosted four nationally syndicated radio programs and worked as a media trainer and consultant. Responsible for producing, researching, and hosting four nationally syndicated radio programs heard collectively on over 180 stations nationwide. Wholly responsible for the overall content and quality of the program, including: staffing, production, marketing and affiliate relations. The radio programs were syndicated by the Talk America Radio Network, I.E. America radio Network, Syndicated Solutions, and The Michigan Talk Radio Network

PRESIDENT TONY TRUPIANO & ASSOCIATES, PUBLIC RELATIONS & PUBLICITY: Founded a fast paced, innovative public relations and publicity company that saw sales grow over 15% annually. Directed a staff of seven people and was chiefly responsible for procuring and retaining clients. Successfully placed clients in over 12,000 combined media appearances, including Television, radio, print and internet placements.

OWNER, EFFECTIVE MEDIA TRAINING AND MEDIATONY.COM: Freelance media consultant that provided expert counsel and training to individuals and companies looking to improve their public profile through the media in all forms. I have media trained and provided freelance writing duties of press materials for over 4000 clients. The vast majority of my work was done under confidentiality agreements and clients ranged from celebrities and politicians to author and experts and companies of all sizes.

SPOKESPERSON/CONSULTANT BASIC RESEARCH, SALT LAKE CITY, UT. Responsible for acting as a spokesperson for their health supplement Leptoprin. Through my efforts on television, the internet and radio was part of a team that saw sales reach 12 million dollars annually. I was the public face of the product and ran a support website that had as many as 400,000 unique visitors a week.

OWNER/OPERATOR, TONY’S CONEY, TONY’S TOO AND GOOD EATS CAFÉ & GRILL, LLC. : Owner/Operator: Complete responsibility for the creation and implementation of all aspects of the restaurants. From menu creation and design, to staffing, inventory control, quality control, marketing and advertising.

CANDIDATE FOR UNITED STATES CONGRESS : Was the Democratic Nominee for the United States Congress from Michigan’s 11th Congressional District. Ran a competitive campaign against a four term member of congress losing by only seven percentage points.
