• Assist in out-patient therapy working with workers compensation patients. Diagnosis included repetitive use and over-exertion work related injuries including those affecting wrist, back, shoulders, elbows etc. Interventions of diagnosis included strengthening, gait training with adaptive equipment, modalities and patient education. Managed a case load of 5-7patients for 5 weeks.
Specialty Rehab Hospital, Overland Park, KS Summer 2011
• 6 week Assignment/CI: Cayla Van Druff, CPTA
• Assisted in acute setting in the rehab hospital and worked with patients with a variety of diagnosis including TBI. Interventions of diagnosis included muscular reeducation, gait training and strengthening. Managed a case load of 4 patients for 4 weeks.
