Key Highlights:
• Project Manager responsible for the Design, development and implementation of a state-of-the-art roadside assistance dispatching system which supports over 10M members. The application was converted from Informix 4GL and developed using Visual Basic 6 and incorporated a variety of complex features including location based identification and CTI (computer telephony integration) for member surveys.
• Personally programmed and integrated the company’s first CTI based application which called and surveyed members following their roadside service.
• Project Manager responsible for coordinating the installation of SAP, design, development and implementation of data interfaces and training of staff.
• Working with outside vendors, implemented a full Disaster Recovery Plan that provided for the seamless transition of all business operations in the event of a sustained business outage.
• Project Manager in coordination with Lucent Technologies to implement a Definity PBX telecommunication switch which included the full call-center rollout.

Key Highlights:
• Provided on-site programming support. This Client was experiencing reporting problems with several of their Main Frame downloads to their RDBMS. They were in need of someone to identify, document and correct the problems they were experiencing. Utilizing Informix 7.x On-Line with ESQL via COBOL. Assist with conversion and migration of current legacy system application to a NCR UNIX platform utilizing an Informix RDMS.
● Complete installation, conversion, setup and training of a new in house Manufacturing / Accounting system. Configured and supported an RS/6000 used in support of a new accounting system.
● Setup a new inventory item usage tracking system; Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) sub system; Repair Order Quotation module and several screens and reports not contained within the new application. All custom programming was accomplished using INFORMIX tools - 4GL and SQL along with UNIX shell programming. Developed in excess of one hundred new modules.
● Project leader responsible for the acquisition of all hardware, software and support (software development) personnel. Conducted all training of support personnel in the application architecture and database structure. Performed all program reviews with programming staff prior to program implementation or any software version upgrades.
● Responsible for the complete conversion and implementation of a new Accounting system. Converted client from their current NEC proprietary system to a new Compaq Pentium MP system running SCO UNIX ODT with a custom INFORMIX-4GL application. Installed all new hardware and software. Converted over all data from current system and modified application to support the company’s needs.
● Installed and supported an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) software package to support the clients use of EDI. Integrated new a software package with accounting system to import Purchase Orders from Trading Partners and transmit Invoices. This application replaced a DOS version which was being handled manually (Printing POs and re-inputting). Programmed all macros to support the interface as well as all 4GL programs.
