As principal owner of the company I routinely develop new business, proposals/project estimates, project plans, and project milestones in addition to hiring contract programmers. Software Development Company specializing in custom data driven software, dynamic web sites, eCommerce websites.

Developed ICGTime, a time tracking and reporting tool for ICG (iConsultingGrp.com). ICGTime is a web based application that allows contractors to enter their billable time for each Client and Project with a Description of the work performed. ICGTime was developed in Flex Builder with an ASP.NET web service for the middle tier data access and stored procedures in a SQL Server 2008 database. Also developed ICGTasks in Flex Builder which tracks tasks per client and allows the client and the consulting firm to track and re-prioritize tasks. ICGTime was originally an AIR application, however it was converted to a web based application per client preferences.

Developed a media player in Flex Builder which streams Flash FLV media files to play weekly news breaks on 3ABN’s website. Developed the company’s 7 web sites in Coldfusion, as well as additional Flex development for their prayer request manager. Developed their affiliate news messaging notification application in Adobe AIR for MAC/PCs.

Developed an Adobe AIR application for HYPERLINK "http://www.todaystruth.com" www.todaystruth.com which syncs with notes on a remote SQL Server database. Incorporated additional functionality for the organization’s website to allow for social media outlets using WordPress and an InFocus template.

Managed full life cycle and development team on PHIexpress (PHIexpress.net). PHIexpress is a web-based application that facilitates secure voice and data transfer between medical practitioners, Medical Transcriptionist Service Organizations and their Medical Transcriptionists. This project was developed in ASP.NET with SQL Server 2008 on the backend.

Developed a Shipment Container Tracking application for a book publisher (LBM.org). The LBM Tracking System is a web-based application that tracks the publisher’s shipments by ensuring they fill a container for over-seas shipments as efficiently as possible. This application was developed in Flex Builder with an ASP.NET web service for middle tier data access and stored procedures in a SQL Server 2005 database.

Developed a Claims Submission application for Praxis Consulting (PraxisConsulting.com). This application is a web-based application to facilitate Insurance companies file submission for subrogation to Praxis Consulting. The Claims Submission application was developed in Adobe Flex Builder with an ASP.NET web service for middle tier data access and stored procedures in a SQL Server 2008 database.

Performed analysis on an existing constituent management solution called KMA. Client had over 30 other ancillary applications and processes that consumed or fed data to the KMA system. This system was being replaced by a newer version called MPX that was a total rewrite. I developed a process to migrate the data from KMA to MPX, redesigned many of the old applications to work with the new database structure, design additional custom solutions including Linked Servers to data outside of SQL Server, SSIS Packages for data conversion and pipeline to other database systems. Also developed over 30 reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Developed two new eCommerce systems with MySQL databases. Used Linked Servers in SQL Server to link to the MySQL databases since they were external to client’s network. SQL Server Reporting Services Reports were then developed for Dashboard Reports, Orders, Batch Orders, and Programming History.

Developed a website pro bono to help flood victims in the recent floods in middle Tennessee. Marketing efforts using this web site raised over $100,000 dollars.

Fiserv is a technology company that provides solutions to the financial industry. At the easyLENDER business unit we developed a Mortgage Loan Origination system and several ancillary products to collect or provide data to various other systems.

At Fiserv I was primarily responsible for managing a group of senior developers, performing maintenance and enhancements on the easyLENDER product. I was also in charge of designing and overseeing the development of several internal projects to help manage our processes. In addition, I also maintained project plans, weekly status reports, and milestone calculations.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:

Managed development team on the easyLENDER Mortgage product line.

Managed project schedules for 3 to 4 production releases per year averaging 200 enhancements and bug fixes per release.

In charge of hiring programmers for the entire department as well as performing annual and semi-annual reviews for my team members.

Developed Technical Specifications and proof-of-concepts.

Key contributor and technologist in development meetings with Product Management.

Designed and developed easyTRACK, a multi-tier system with SQL Server 7.0 back-end to track all issues through the development cycle. The tracking system interfaces with Visual Source Safe to control access to files.

Designed and developed easySENDER, a COM application that emails captured print jobs as attachments via SMTP (Internet email). This object was easily implemented in any application that has printed output. This enhancement resulted in a cost savings of $1000 to $80,000 per year depending on the volume of closing packages sent by the client.

Designed and developed multiple projects to pipeline XML data in and out of mainstream applications to host systems via HTTPS (SSL) POST.

Lead development of a Data Dictionary strategy, which enhanced performance of printing closing packages 10 times. VBScript technology was also incorporated allowing the end-user to manipulate data and implement their own COM objects as data is retrieved from the database.

Development of Intranet site for the easyLENDER Product Group using ASP, FrontPage, JavaScript, HTML, PhotoShop 5, SQL Server 7.0

Developed Programming Standards and Development Guidelines. Implemented the Standards into all new development within the easyLENDER Product Group.

While at Computer Associates I was responsible for development on several projects, participated in JAD sessions with user groups and clients, and was the key contributor on all client-server development.

Lead developer on project that provided multimedia Internet/Intranet interfaces in WEB Browser for mainframe banking applications such as Financial Control System, Deposits, Time Investment, Customer Information, and Account Analysis.

Sole developer on Client/Server Customer Information System using Java and Visual J++. Application provided access to Financial Control System through an ODBC layer to a DATACOM database on the mainframe.
