Project 1 : BMW F30-South Africa & F30- F35- China (Motor Compartment)

Description : This cell has about seven robots of different applications like spot welding, handling, pedestal welding & sealing. Cell has to be build as per BMW standards for Motor compartment station, where activities like defining gun kinematics, gun selection, Robot selection, Robot reach study & placement, interference check, Collision check, OLP generation, cycle time report etc.,

Project 2 : UNDER BODY & MOTOR COMPARTMENT

Customer : DALIAN AUTO- CHINA

Client : GM-BRAZIL

Tools : IGRIP & RobCAD 8.0

Description : This project consists of 3 variants with 8-Robots for Front end and 6-Robots for under body line. Scope of work is tool validation, layout validation, kinematics, process path, realistic simulation, SOP & offline programming with all deliverables as per GM standards.

Project 3 : KUKA VW MQB

Customer : KUKA- GERMANY

Client : KUKA- GERMANY

Description : This project is for 3-plants WOB1-3 variants, WOB2-3 variants & ZWI-5 variants with 4-different lines LTR, TGST, BOHI & BHVS. Scope of work is tool validation, layout validation, kinematics, process path, realistic simulation, SOP & offline programming with all deliverables as per VW standards.

2. March 2007 to April 2010

DiFACTO ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION PVT LTD- BANGALORE

Position Held: Team Leader (Design & Simulation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling of various 3D Modeling and Development Projects by Using Pro-E & AUTOCAD

• Designing SPM’s & Fixtures for machining centers.

• Designing of BIW Fixtures, Robot EOAT’s & designing of other cell element.

• Robotic work cell simulation & offline programming for various applications such as Spot welding, Material handling, Sealing, Roller hemming, press tending etc.,

• Process study, gun validation, Robot selection & study of manufacturing processes for feasibility of robotic applications

• Attending daily, weekly meetings with the team and interacting with the Client to discuss on the progress, issues of the project and ensure delivery as per the schedule.

• Involved in preparing the status update documents and presenting the same to the client.

• Assign work to the team members and monitor the work progress

Projects Handled:

• Design & Simulation of BIW fixture for Dash Panel, Tail skirt & Apron components using Pro-E, AutoCAD & also doing simulation study for the same in ROBCAD- Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd

• Designing of hydraulic machining fixture for an exhaust manifold which involves 3D modeling and part drawings using Pro-E.

• Designing of the Gripper & other cell elements like Centering table, Turnover station etc., for Press tending application to suit more than 30 variants. This Project involves Vacuum cup selection, gripper designing to accommodate all the variants, Modeling & detailing of all cell elements using Pro-E & AutoCAD - GODREJ BOYCE-Mumbai

• Designing of the Gripper for Box handling to suit more than 30 variants- GODREJ BOYCE-Mumbai

• EOAT Design for forging application to accommodate more than 20 variants of bevel gear components and checking reach study for the robot & doing simulation of the same in ROBOGUIDE simulation software -SONA OKEGAWA-Gurgaon

• Maruti Suzuki-RITZ line Robotic Cell simulation for Underbody line & Main-floor line using Robcad 7.5.1 software–COMAU INDIA Pvt. Ltd

• Creating a cell using Robcad 7.5.1 for framing station having three variants of car models in the same line. This cell contains 4-Robots, each robot uses both gripper & weld guns, in this it includes Robot placement, defining kinematics, path optimization, collision check, working with different TCP’s, generating OLP and cycle time report. - U202 (M&M)

Project 2 : Valve Cover

Client : ENDURANCE- Pune.

Description : This component is an Aluminum casting, Fixture has to be made to cover all operations in it. This project involves 3D modeling and part drawings for “Hydraulic fixture” using Pro-E2001. The client inputs for this will be in the form of machine details and the Component drawing.

Project 3 : TATA CUMMINS-Encore & ISBE

Client : Ashok Iron works.

Description : This component is a Gear Box unit for Heavy tonnage vehicles of TELCO. This project involves 3D modeling and part drawings for Hydraulic fixture using Pro-E. To finish this project client has provided machine details, Component drawing and the process flow details
