FEM Analyse of steel structures e.g. offshore Crane Pedestal, Helicopter truss structure, Living quarters of the Semi Submersible/Oil Rigs & Drillship. Fatigue Analysis (HOT SPOT Method), drop object Analysis, Tank and bulkhead etc.

Hand Calculations to check the Structural Strength Check for platforms, equipment foundations, lifting padeyes etc.

Solving Production onsite issues like interferences/work suitability/accessibility to various areas & improving Quality

Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule. Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to discipline work-scope

Attending Engineering/Owners meetings to solve site-issues/ discuss about project status

Assigning jobs to Draftsmen, assist with development of drawings, sketches and illustrations for technical reports & preparing man hour estimates

Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures and regulations

Maintaining good communication with the client and visit sites when necessary

Coordinating with the other discipline Lead Engineers and Project Management to ensure constructability and standardisation are properly addressed in all design work
