Head camp councilor of 10 year old group June 2008 and June 2009 Prepared lesson plans for a six week camp experience which encompass both the children’s activities and the councilors’ responsibilities.

Lead field trips to six flags, ice skating rinks, movies, Sports Zone, and pools.

Lead daily onsite camp activities such as: gym, outdoor recess, arts and crafts, quiet time, and snack time.

Gained leadership experience and an education in the protocols of child safety and first aide.

Husky Homerun Softball School Storrs, CT

Softball Instructor June 2007 Facilitated certain drills working on technique Coached a team during the camp and provided direction and exercises to improve their skills. Supervised all dorm activities Spoke with the athletes on how important technical skills, self confidence, and team unity are to the game of softball.

NFCA Softball Camp Pennsbury, PA

Assistant Coach June 2008 and June 2009 Helped showcase potential student athletes to college coaches.

At tournament end, fielded questions concerning the student athlete in college.
