* Created the Business Applications Department to manage all software applications. Responsible for creating and meeting annual budget. Responsible for creating a departmental strategy that met company goals of greater sales and lower costs.

* Implemented a structure to manage a portfolio of up to 50 requests for projects per year. Developed and published a roadmap of accepted projects. Updated and published the roadmap monthly.

* Created and implemented a multi-year plan to implement 7 key modules of the existing DataFlo ERP system. Developed each project plan by analyzing internal customer’s needs and balancing them against the company goals. Involved key members of each department in all phases of the project.

* Implemented SDLC principles for all projects. Created cross-functional teams to guide each project.

* Managed teams of in house programmers and contract programmers including teams in Europe. Responsibility to control costs attained by matching the best resources for each project resulting in meeting budget constraints successfully.

* Managed a help desk that supported all custom programming, as well as was the first line of help for all purchased solutions.

* Migrated proprietary ASP based solutions to the existing DataFlo ERP system, replacing the ASP portion with .NET.

* Implemented a full service B2B solution using .NET, tied to the existing DataFlo ERP system.

* Led a team of 7 programmers for both development and maintenance of DataFlo.

* Created ERP software DataFlo’s major release 5.9. This release had 20 major and minor enhancements and was released on time and on budget.

* Created interfaces from 3rd party software, to DataFlo, such as sales forecasting software Demand Solutions, financial reporting software FRx, and others.

* Implemented ODBC solution for DataFlo. This allowed DataFlo, to interface with SQL based applications for reporting, such as Crystal Reports and MS Access.
