Acquired B-2 General Contracting business and founded United Building Solutions, Inc to provide commercial tenant improvement and custom residence construction services, including general contracting and owner’s representative services. Managed all facets of company operations, incorporating sales and marketing; sub contractor bidding and management processes; finance oversight including AP, AR, payroll, and construction billing; and human resources hiring, training, and terminations. Company had average annual sales of $3 million. Notable projects include:

Project Manager, TWC Construction, Henderson, Nevada, 2001 to 2004
TWC Construction is a general contractor for commercial construction, ranging from tenant improvements to large industrial and office complexes and retail developments. As Project Manager, I was responsible for administration of all contracting, budgeting and overall supervision for field staff and sub-contractors on tenant improvement and custom residence projects from pre-construction through to inspection and final certification of occupancy. General Manager, Hilton Gaslamp District, San Diego, California 2000-2001
As General Manager, I coordinated all recruitment and hiring for all hotel positions, oversaw the implementation of front/back of the house systems and was responsible for the final construction and furniture, fixture & equipment installation for this ground up $52 million dollar mixed use project.

General Manager, Holiday Inn Minneapolis-West, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1997-2000
During my tenure as General Manager, I was responsible for the deep turn around transition of this property. As part of this process, I managed the completion of full guestroom, public areas and outlet remodel with minimal displacement.
• Increased Revpar, Penetration and Overall Profitability by over 20% within two years after takeover.
General Manager, Holiday Inn Mission Valley-Stadium, San Diego, California, 1996-1997
My team repositioned this property and achieved a 40% gain in revenues within one year. We were integral in the positioning of this asset to provide the foundation for hotel ownership’s profitable sale of this asset within one year after acquisition.
General Manager, Howard Johnson, Whippany, New Jersey, 1994-1996
Responsible for the implementation of the updated Howard Johnson Brand Standards and implementing new Property Management and Yield Management Systems. Catering, Meeting and Outlet Business lines, were revitalized, achieving profitability within 6 months.
