I have been worked as a Onsite Application Cluster Lead and technical expert for Cool:Gen applications VLB, TRS, RSI and MFF. Client has requested Accenture to bring me back for one of the major project, which is totally messed up and it supposed to go live by last year. I am working as a SME for the project and making good progress on the project, client has an impression that project can go live without any issues as per the projected date.

The Scheduled Auto application supports all business processing functions: New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Renewal Conversions (from prior Auto systems), and Rewrite New, Rewrite Same, Cancel Notice, Final Cancel, Cancel Flat/Change Not Taken. It provides integrated policy processing capabilities to field office employees, service/processing center employees, and agents.

:Offshore Team Lead
As an Offshore Team Lead for Scheduled Auto Forms & Rating application, my responsibilities include estimating the tasks, task allocation, analysis, technical design, coding, testing, peer-review, resource utilization, status reporting and production support. I have also been involved in taking technical interviews of candidates, imparting training to new joiners etc.

NR3DD is a replacement of the former AG Supply Chain System. AG Supply Chain also referred to as SCDB or AGSC. NR3DD is the system that receives data from various global sources then reformats, validates and sends it to SAP R3 for processing. Data enters the system from several sources: User Spreadsheet, SAP R2, and MOS. NR3DD leveraged, used, the Format & Validation processing from the retired AGSC and added a Collector process to complete the data for SAP R3 readiness. This data then FTPed via DUFTS to SAP R3.

The insurance system processes over 1.2 Million Policies in force. The bulk of the processing takes place in the 10 zonal offices and the processing in the corporate is confined to Group Medical Insurance (GMID) & certain Reports generation. The Policy system aids in issuance of new policies, maintaining the history of the policyholders, and the changes pertaining to policyholders.
The Claims system's function is to process the claims raised & print the checks and the associated explanation of benefits. The Claims system also maintains the history of claims. The primary language used for the system is COBOL. The system utilizes DB2 to manage & process the Data. The two phased processing - online for the daytime & batch during the nights put the data into the DB2 databases & utilizes it.
