 Project Planning & Management

o Monitoring and executing various erection, commissioning of Power projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects. All the Projects undertaken have been completed well ahead of the schedules avoiding cost over runs and reducing the Project cost significantly

o Conducting cost benefit analysis of the projects including feasibility studies, assessment of the requirements, adaptation, interface and commissioning.

o Arbitration and Dispute Redressel

o Activities include Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engg.

 Erection & Commissioning

o Anchoring on-site erection & commissioning of various 400 KV Power Transmission Lines & Sub-Stations etc. ensuring effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.

o Installation and commissioning of various equipments as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness.

o Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates for installation & commission of the equipment; reviewing & analyzing contractor's change order proposals & submittals.

 Operations & Maintenance

o Planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance / repair schedules for the equipments to increase machine up time and reliability.

o Coordinating material / spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation.

 3) 220 KV D/C & S/C Libya – Tunisia Interconnector

 4) Augmentation of Distribution Project in N’Djamena, Chad

Distinctively constructed and functioned as:

- Project In-charge for construction of 400 KV D/C, Quad Conductor RAICHUR-GOOTY Inter State Transmission Line (160 Kms) and 400 KV Switchyards at Raichur KPCL & Gooty POWERGRID 400 KV Sub-Stations.Commissioned ahead of the schedule by 10 months

- Project In-charge for construction of 400 KV S/C, HYDERABAD – KURNOOL – GOOTY Transmission Line (310 Kms) and 400 KV Switchyards at Kurnool APTRANSCO & Gooty POWERGRID 400 KV Sub-Stations ahead of the schedule by 5 months. This includes Pile Foundations for Tungabhadra River Crossing.

- Project In-charge for construction of 400 KV Switchyard in NTPC Korba Korba-Raipur 400KV Transmission Line.

- Project In-charge for construction of 220 KV Korba(M.P.) – Budipadar(Orissa) Transmission Line (200 Kms) and Switchyard at Korba (MPEB) East Switchyard as East-West Inter-connector (Inter-Regional Link) completed within 5 months.

- Station In-charge for 400 KV JABALPUR Sub-Station (Most important Grid Sub-Station of Western Region) and connected lines (650 Kms) to NTPC, VSTPP Vindhyachal and Itarsi.

- Project In-charge for the construction of 400KV D/C Jabalpur-Itarsi Transmission Line (250 Kms) (Ckt. III & IV) commissioned ahead of the schedule by 6 months.

- Project In-charge for the construction of 400 KV Bhadrawathi (Chandrapur) Sub- Station – right from Land Acquisition to Construction & Commissioning under KSTPP, Korba Stage II – Largest S/S in Western Region with HVDC Back to Back Station

S/S extension for Chandrapur – Ramagundam Lines under CTP Scheme

Construction of Bhadrawathi-Chandrapur D/C line (40 Kms)

S/S extension works in Chandrapur (MSEB) Super Thermal Power Station

- Execution Co-ordination & Commssioning of all 400 KV Lines & Sub-Stations under KSTPP Stage I, Stage II, VSTPP Stage I, Stage I additional

- Intensive examination of civil/mechanical/Electrical works in Jabalpur-Vindhyachal line done as Quality/Quantity Inspector and Technical Examiner on behalf of Central Vigilance Commission.

- Incharge for Construction, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of 220 KV Sub-Station in Neyveli

- Incharge for Construction of 220 KV D/C Line from NLC Thermal Station II – Mines II

 Significantly contributed as Incharge in the operations & maintenance of 400 KV Transmission Lines & Sub-Stations.

 Having Experience in use of Emergency Restoration System during tower collapses and disaster management and restoration of normal system in least possible time. Restoration works done in BCPP-BALCO, Jabalpur-Itarsi & Bhilai-Chandrapur Lines.

Qualifications

1983 Bachelors Degree in Engineering (B.E) – Electrical with 80.2% from University College of

Engineering (Osmania University), Hyderabad.

1982(part time) Diploma in Computer Science with ‘A’ Grade Jointly Organized by ECIL & Department of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering (Osmania University), Hyderabad.
