Have studied Human Anatomy and Physiology and understand many functions and movements of the cardiovascular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Pharmacology studies provided knowledge of numerous drugs and medications given during different diseased and health states. Communication studies have allowed knowledge of verbal and nonverbal skills while public speaking or interacting with patients and peers. Am able to learn a variety of new materials due to attending a liberal arts college.

Activities
Carroll Outreach Team- Carroll College, Helena, MT
Had an opportunity to go on a medical mission trip to Honduras in May of 2011. Performed general assessments of eyes, ears, nose, throat, blood pressure, pulse, and lung and heart sounds to local community. Handed out antiparasitics, vitamins, and first aid kits.
Montana on a Mission- Big Timber and Glasgow Evangelical Churches
Participated in a mission trip to Bohol, Philippines in August of 2007. Tore down old buildings, painted the local elementary school, and assisted with the education of the Filipino students. Worked between 8-10 hours everyday. Experienced Filipino lifestyle, culture, and language.
