Responsible for supporting Surgical Consultants within the Sports Medicine sales channel - including attending surgical cases and assist surgeons and OR staff with the use of tissue forms and products. Attend surgical cases, sometimes with short notice, as needed by Surgical Consultants to assure tissues/products are used appropriately by end users in the operating room. Accountable for field inventory and delivery of select products and equipment as necessary for surgical cases. Communicate pertinent information from surgical cases attended. Left due to relocation of spouse.
August 2004-February 2006 Office Coordinator 2 - LDSH Kidney Transplant Department:
Under direction of a RN, my responsibilities include reporting and recording lab results and medical data in compliance of United Network of Organ Sharing standards. Responsible for ordering and sending patients and donors informational pamphlets and scheduling preoperative testing as determined by the transplant physician. Left after birth of child.

Responsible for scheduling surgery and medical tests for patients. Assisted in minor sterile office procedures and helped to resolve patients’ medical issues and concerns upon the advice of physician. In this position I refined skills needed to mediate concerns and complaints of patients.

Responsible for answering phone calls, collecting and recording patient information, collecting insurance copayments and balancing cash drawer. Was the first contact for patients on the phone and in person. Left when an internal position as surgery scheduler became available.
