Duties include supporting an engineering team by performing PCB layouts for complex, fine pitch, high-density, multi-layer printed circuit boards. Produce and export all documentation for release and manufacturing of circuit boards including gerber files, drill data, detailed drill drawings, assembly drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing and test data, dxf, pdf, emn, emp and idf files.
Proficient in translating electrical constraints such as differential and impedance requirements into layout requirements using constraint manager tools. Experienced in pin, gate and function swapping.
Knowledge of current carrying requirements, spacing verses voltage, layout for EMI and manufacturing requirements.
Past layouts include: HIGH SPEED, MULTI CURRENT, DIFFERENTIAL AND SINGLE ENDED IMPEDANCE CONTROLLED, POWER SUPPLY, RF, FLEX AND RIGI FLEX, TEST FIXTURE BOARDS, MOTHER BOARDS, AND BACKPLANES.
