Network Manager
As the network manager at Sunnyridge Farm, the primary role is to manage a team of 5 Systems engineer on the day to day support of all Windows systems, SAN environment and VMware vSphere 4.1 Farm. The company operates 24/7 most of the year. Responsible for setting the technology roadmap for the company.
The environment consists of approximately 35 Windows 2008 R2 servers on the primary site, all running on VMware Vsphere 4.1, and running on IBM S22 series Blade Center and 2 Dell EquolLogic SAN’s, that are used for data replication between the primary site and remote site. The secondary site, host 4 Dell Servers running VSphere 4.1.
Responsible for architecting Sunnyridge’s remote site in Plant City, FL for BC/DR failover.

Software Systems Engineer Manager
Responsible, for the management of all Infrastructure teams (UNIX, SAN/NAs storage, e-mail, Windows and zOS mainframe teams), composing of over 25 staff members, including FTE and consultants. The Intel team was responsible for the daily operation of over 650 Windows servers including over 350 VMware Virtual guests. The UNIX team was responsible over 100 LPARS, running AIX on IBM p570, p690 and p595 series frames, using VIO technology. The e-mail team managed an MS Exchange 2003 platform consisting of 12,000 plus mailboxes and using Zantaz for e-mail archiving and e-discovery. SAN/NAS team managed over 70TB of storage on multiple platforms, including, EMC DMX3, IBM 8000, IBM XIV, EMC Celera, EMC Centera, and used the IBM SVC (San Volume Controller) to manage all data platforms, providing thin provisioning to all customers across the enterprise and performing Global mirroring replication to our Hot Site at the Northwest Regional Data Center in Tallahassee. Our zOS team managed various applications on an IBM z890 mainframe including other county department’s critical applications.

• Windows 2000 Senior Systems Engineer administrator, consisting of over 150 Dell servers, across 12 sites worldwide.

Sr. Systems Engineer
As a senior member of the IT Team, responsible for all NT server build, administration, and support, as well as, 2nd and 3rd level technical support for the company Help Desk. Other responsibilities include; support and management of LAN/WAN component hardware (HP, Nortel, Cisco, Compaq, IBM). USCO has over 1500 Remote Locations spanning the globe. The infrastructure is based on a hub and spoke model, anchored by Cisco gear utilizing Frame Relay, ISDN and IP VPN technologies. Some key responsibilities are as follows:
• Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 Administrator, consisting of over 250 HP, Compaq and IBM Servers.
• Project manager for migrating from Windows NT Domain to Windows 2000 Active Directory Domain. Unattended Software Installation for our Remote Sites using Shell Scripts and VBScript, Answer files, Systems Prep, etc.
• Lead administrator for Exchange 5.5 farm with over 3000 mail boxes.
• Planned, Implemented and Administered our two Citrix Meta Frame farms, one running Meta Frame 1.8 consisting of 6 Servers and publishing two critical applications; People Soft Financials and Ceridian Payroll over a LAN and WAN environment with over 500 Nodes hitting the farm; the other running Meta Frame XP running on Windows 2000, Office 2000 and Outlook 2000, and a few in-house applications.
• Team lead for financial systems (PeopleSoft, Ceridian and Kronos) for Disaster Recovery. Testing is performed on a semiannual basis at SunGard, Philadelphia, PA. 100% success rating.
• Project lead for implementing and supporting the organizations Citrix deployment and implementation in North America. Site management responsibility for 100 locations in NAFTA. Daily server administration and 24/7 critical support of all NT Servers and Citrix Meta Frame Servers and other peripherals (Desktops, Printers, etc.). Ongoing support of our facilities startup, consisting of server configuration, user and security implementation, Desktop rollout and Administration.
• Executed a successful Implementation of 50 NT Servers for RF Applications, servicing one of USCO major customers. This was successfully completed in a two-week cycle.
• Financial systems technical lead for PeopleSoft, Ceridian and Kronos Applications. This includes managing all Finance Servers running Windows NT 4, Terminal Server 4.0 Citrix Meta Frame 1.8\XP and Windows 2000, applying security, upgrades, patches, etc.

Part of the IT Team the supported of over 30 NT Server, Novell Administrators and 1st and 2nd Level Support. Supported and managed a LAN/WAN consisting of over 50 NT Servers and 20 Novell Servers. We also supported 30 Remote Sites and over 3500 Nodes (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, etc.). Our Networks ran on Managed PP T1's and Cabletron Routers and Switches, on a TCP/IP and IPX/SPX Network.
