Material Specialist and BOM Builder for Lithium Ion Batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles. In charge of Crib area, inventory, shipping receiving and material follow up. Working with engineering and sources on engineering changes and break pointing them assuring materials are available to maintain schedule. Control inventory by program and pick kits and supply them to the build floor per the schedule. Helping to set up production line by providing facility resource planning based on build timing schedules and building constraints.

Contracted to Daimler Chrysler Corporation JTE Plymouth Road Prototype & Pilot (See Attached Sheet) BOM Specialist, Material Coordinator, Operations Analyst, QMF (SQL) Programmer. Put together BOM’s to build Vehicles down a pilot line in plant sequence. Track, implement and maintain changes to all builds. Helped to solve build problems and establish processes on the pilot line. Write and distribute QMF Procs and Queries to the whole facility. Wrote Books of Knowledge to explain how jobs were performed. Wrote training packets and trained people how to use QMF and other systems. Wrote a number of new reports for the warehouse and BOM group that cut down on time required to do the jobs. Laid off with all other contract when Chrysler got government loans.

Brought back by my old management to help management set up a material procurement system that operated like the ones used by Pontiac, Flint and Warren prototype facilities. Helped set up warehouse, put together work instructions, trained employees in computer systems(EMS, PDS, SPO, TSO, QMF (SQL), E2, Embassy, EDIS, Excel, Word & Powerpoint). Also put together presentations to train all engineering groups at MPG in the new system. Also Program Analyst and BOM Specialist for Durability, Media Prep (All Program Lines) & M/D Trucks.
Contracted to Chrysler Technology Center March 2000 – July 2000
Program Coordinator for chassis parts for the 2002 PT Cruiser, chaired reconciliation meetings with Engineer groups. Attended build ability meetings with build floor. Trouble shot chassis build problems and issues on the build floor. Left because GM promised to bring me in contract and to then hire me as a direct GM employee.

1996 – March 2000. Advanced to Prototype Coordinator (Program Analyst) for all C,D,E,G,H & K bodied builds. Report to management and engineering groups on status of material and BOM’s from 20 weeks before build till after build completion. Maintain database to track parts that may not make the build and put together work around plans. Chair build ability and BOM build meetings. Special Assignment to Hamtrmk Asm Plant for 2 months for 270 Spyder builds. Left for advancement opportunities at Chrysler.
Oct. 1991 -1996 Advanced to Material Control Dept. Order Analyst for all engines, transmissions, fluids, chemicals and adheasives. Order and follow up & shortage reporting to management. Evaluate all C, H & G Car builds to determine build ability based on part availability. Disperse parts for builds. Special Assignment-Reatta Craft Center as Material Analyst and Specifications (Put together builds of material).
