CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
I completed my education in the winter of 1993. At that time, the job market was pretty bleak. However, in April of 1994, I was hired on as an engineering assistant for Natkin & Co., a mechanical subcontractor on the TVA Flue Gas Desulfurization Retrofit Project at Cumberland Steam Plant. My responsibilities were primarily that of document control as I was charged with keeping the field sets of drawings updated with the latest revisions. This position was a great learning experience for me and it set me on a path of construction management as a career. As you can see from the project list below, I have over 15 years experience with government and private sector contracts and extensive experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Career Highlights
TJC Engineering and Northview Enterprises
As a project manager for these two companies at Fort Campbell, I have developed a tremendous rapport with the government contacts on numerous projects. Every Contract Administrator with whom I have worked would say that I am true to my word. Over the years, I have garnered a reputation for honesty and integrity in the execution of contracts. The same could be said of the various subcontractors which I have had the pleasure to oversee. I always try to be fair in negotiations with either a subcontractor or the government.
TMS Contracting LLC.
The year before I started work for TMS, the company had grossed 1.8 million. After five years as Estimator and Senior Project Manager, the volume was 20 million. Of the projects that I prepared the bid, only 1 out of over 150 was a financial failure and it broke even.
Firth Construction Company
While working on the On-Post Railroad Project at Fort Campbell, I was given the opportunity to travel to Machadinho, Rondonia, Brazil to work in the rainforests of South America. Although I only stayed for a month, the experience has had a profound influence upon my life and especially my appreciation for the standard of living we have here in America.
