Events and Audio Visual – Oversee and manage all aspects of event planning including coordinating conference arrangements, invitation writing, database registration, catering, and set up. Also take photographs of and record all events in video and audio formats, edit and mix effects, and post on the Hudson website. (Note: attendance at events has more than tripled from an average of 30 attendees to over 100 during my time at Hudson.) Created and maintain Hudson YouTube channel (current views are 106,000). Set up live U-Stream filming of events. Troubleshoot A/V problems, and have researched and enhanced technical processes, such as purchase of video camera, new still photography camera, and lights for speaker stage.
Publications / Website / Social Media – As part of a small communications team responsible for company branding and publications, have proofread numerous books and other publica-tions, such as annual reports, newsletters, and white papers. Have written articles for newsletter and marketing materials for annual report. Set up Hudson Facebook and Twitter accounts and update these daily with articles, videos, and audio clips. Post featured videos and publications to the www.Hudson.org website, as well as articles and photos. Website manager for a satellite Hudson Center, (www.cgfi.org).
Media Outreach / Public Relations – With my colleagues in the communications department, gather media appearance clips and information for a weekly e-bulletin using HTML. Assist in preparation of media logs and other materials for Board Meetings. Draft and edit press releases.
