PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

2006 to 2010 Product Developer and Manager (HEMS Technology). Product manager responsible for a new line of wireless energy management products within the electric and consumer level markets. Took product from idea to launch which included the logistics and support requirements associated with a new line of product offer.

2005 to 2006 VP Project/Product Manager (USCL Corporation). Contracted VP project manager responsible for moving a later stage startup to the next level. Created wireless network product line designed to capitalize on existing technologies and the demand for Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) within the electric utility markets. Product line required Product development of software and radio hardware for a mesh network system and development of energy meter for nationwide deployment. Responsible for complete product and sales development.

2004 to 2005 Marketing/Business Consulting for various companies doing product and sales marketing. Acted as a consultant in various sales capacity to these companies and provided business plans and marketing strategy to increase their revenue generation.

2002 to 2004 Marketing/ Product Manager/Technical Support Manager (Master Meter). As product manager was responsible for product launch of a new and revolutionary wireless radio system within the utility market for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR). This included all functions for product management, product marketing, and product customer support. As a result of the new product launch, company increased revenues from original 20 Million up to 80 Million (since the launch) due mostly for the addition of an RF wireless solution. Provided technical expertise on new product to distributor channels and customers, both small and large accounts. Formulated marketing strategy and implemented support procedures for a successful product launch. This position required ability to handle multiple projects and tasking. Used MS Project as a basis for project management. Develop and implemented the product support plan for the radio systems to include developing the support infrastructure and architecture consisting of personnel and technical help and training. Wrote all job descriptions and assessed skills and resource requirements per section tasks.

1998 to 2002 Marketing/ Business Development and Technical Support Engineering (RAMAR Technology). Worked within a startup company in the area of Information Technology as it applies to Wireless Automated Meter Reading. This is a fast paced technology market requiring extensive technical knowledge and in depth expertise in sales. Since I was the ground floor individual, I was responsible for implementing strategies, processes and procedures for developing the market for wireless products within the Latin American and Caribbean markets. Worked large deals both in Mexico and Puerto Rico, interfaced with company presidents and executives and government officials. Additional duties include developing the company project management approach to large account management and training the sales force on project management of large accounts.

The responsibility under this job title include client technical support, both telephonically and at location wherever the need arises, product knowledge, administrative responsibilities related to product support, and technical support policy and procedure development.

Under this title also functioned as product manager for a wireless network system utilizing a cell node concept. Took the product from initial design through two itineraries of product change to a successful product launch over a period of two years. Wrote all the technical manuals and operating procedures associated with the product to include the Bill of Materials (BOM). Produced testing procedures for software qualification prior to product launch approval.

1995 to 1998 Technical Engineering Testing (Northern Telecom). Approximately two and a half years at Wireless Networks (Northern Telecom) as an electronics technical engineer. Responsibilities include testing of Digital Frequency Hopping radios for Personal Communications Service (PCS/GSM). Developed troubleshooting processes and trained technical personnel on the various digital boards associated with mobile TDMA cell systems.

1994 to 1995 Marketing/ Senior Engineer/ General Manager (Channel 57). As Manager of W57BQ TV (Apex,

NC) was responsible for daily activities of a 24-hour television station consisting of 10 staff. Wrote and

implemented business and marketing plan, personnel policies for compliance with HR/OSHA requirements,

strategic acquisition of additional TV outlets, and organizational structuring. Identified and took corrective action on

the many FCC shortfalls to minimize station liability with the general public and the FCC. Wrote and established

contracts for both programming and commercial spots. Produced and implemented a budget to maximize

profit, developed marketing and public relations initiatives, published and edited a monthly newsletter. Provided

technical advertising expertise to production and advised clients on television issues.

1992 to 1994 President and Owner (Manna Communications). Computer animation company specializing in special effects and graphics for advertising. As Marketing/Business Development/Operations individual increased sales 40% over a period of one year. Responsibilities included doing sales presentations and marketing strategies. Actively involved in the design and execution of each project to include overseeing outsourcing graphic requirements.

MILITARY EXPERIENCE:

US ARMY: Worked within the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (Fort Gordon) as Project Officer assigned to the one star and two star level general officers. Handled all interfacing between civilian and government technology projects and kept the general officers updated on status of multiple projects. While at the Directorate of Combat Development (Special Forces, Fort Bragg) was lead communications project officer responsible to the general officers for evaluation of current and future technologies and their applications to the Special Forces. Left military with the rank of Captain (selected for next rank of Major by the US Army, Signal Corps Branch).

US Marine Corps: Background in electronics stems from having been trained at Navy/Marines electronics schools and four years of working on US Marine fighter aircrafts (F4J Phantoms).
