Recruited a world-class executive management team that rapidly developed an operating synergy; revamped an outdated

business model; executed a strategic corporate revitalization initiative, and eliminated repetitious layers thereby improving operating performance by 100% and generating a 100% increase in program service delivery.

In collaboration with administrative and frontline staff: formulated, the new vision, mission and values direction of the agency.

In conjunction with outside consultation initiated communication strategies through a new branding logo and marketing plan aimed at improving agency image, increasing agency visibility and enhancing public relations.

Over an 8 year period, led fundraising efforts which yielded approximately $90,000 in proceeds.

Secured $300,000 in funding to direct capital creation efforts and for completion of phase two of the organization’s capital improvement campaign which afforded the following renovations; a new porous parking lot, refurbished gymnasium floor and new electronic basketball hoop, new security system, two new restrooms, new doors and new windows for energy efficient cost savings.

Established collaborative partnerships with six social service agencies in Syracuse (i.e. Salvation Army of CNY, Catholic

Charities of CNY and the Atlantic Stakes Legal Foundation, Greater Syracuse Works) which introduced a complete suite of expanded programs, operational support services and increased revenue by approximately $350,000.

Member of the labor negotiations team at Crouse Hospital for the 2002-2005 contract renewals: that included the SEIU Local 1199-RN, LPN/Technical, and Service and Maintenance /Clerical bargaining units which resulted in new agreements. In conjunction with labor counsel and HR administrative team bargained key issues specifically; wage and tier increases, overtime, employee schedules, holiday and vacation entitlement, layoff procedures, seniority, tuition reimbursement, workforce development training fund, and the grievance process.

Successfully conducted labor history classes, trainings for management highlighting; leadership and communication skills, the genesis of collective bargaining, and creating labor alliances.

Assisted in the investigative process in response to Human Rights and Title VII alleged complaints of discrimination; facilitated responses too FLSA, ADA, and FMLA inquiries that were generally upheld at appeal hearings.

Garnered experience in expediting grievance processes and applying progressive discipline policies by conducting Step 1-A/disciplinary hearings for, permanent, provisional and non-competitive employees; investigation of complaints, issuing determinations, reports and recommendations, and contract interpretation.
