WORK EXPERIENCE:

Oct 2007 to June 2008 – Unisys Corp. 600 Lynnhaven Pkwy Virginia Beach, VA

During my time at Unisys, I had been mainly working on upgrading the software test plan of one of their major programs, DHAMS. In migrating from Delphi 5 to Delphi 7, their test procedures had to be run and regression tested against the new software. I also worked on creating an InstallShield Program to install their software which involved copying of files, setting registry keys, and installing merge modules.

Nov 1997 to Oct 2007 – Northrop Grumman Corp. 1740 Wehrle Dr Buffalo, NY

During my time at Northrop Grumman, I had gained vast experience and knowledge from 3 major product lines. I was tasked with everything from performing cost analysis on software development to software design and testing to installing and integrating a system at customer sites. My last assignment was in Product Support helping to maintain and upgrade existing customer systems.

AMES II & III - The Advanced Multiple Environment Simulator - Series II & III (AMES II and AMES III) systems generate simulations of various multiple-threat radar environments to test and evaluate electronic warfare systems. They can produce multiple real-time radio frequency (RF) signals with pre-programmed threat characteristics within a simulated and controlled environment. The systems are capable of managing the attributes of each platform relative to the system under test (SUT) and simulate the EW environment in 3D and real-time. Whereas AMES II runs under OpenVMS on a DEC Alpha workstation and is written in DEC Ada, AMES III runs on a Microsoft 2000 PC and is written in Borland Delphi 5. Both systems store their scenario information on SQL Server Databases on a separate Windows NT SQL Server computer. I was tasked with software maintenance of both systems.

CEESIM - The Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM) is an electronic simulation system which allows the user to perform a controlled, quantitative evaluation of modern EW systems during and after their development. THE CEESIM, capable of managing complete scenarios that contain multiple platforms with multiple emitters operating, can simulate the EW environment in 3D and real-time and define digital and RF output. The software uses Xwindows, Motif and the Common Desktop Environment (CDE). It’s written in a combination of Microsoft Visual C++ and Ada95, runs on a 667 MHz Alpha workstation and uses the Compaq Tru64 Unix operation system. I was tasked with software maintenance and developement of portions of the system.

RANGE (RTDS) - The RTDS provides 3d real-time air surveillance capabilities to the United States military personnel at many locations throughout the country. It contains many features that aid in controlling the military aircraft in their training exercise as well as providing a clear view of all other aircraft in the area at the current time. The system correlates and fuses multiple radar inputs as well as any available ACMI feeds into one cohesive air picture which can be sent to a number of different displays. The system utilizes multi-threading programming written in Ada, runs on a Sun Ultra60 and a Sun 420R Server, and operates under a Rational Vads-Self Threaded compiler and a Solaris 2.8 operating system. It utilizes Xwindows and Motif for the GUI environment. I was tasked with software developement of portions of the system.

10/96 to 10/97 - Calspan Corp. 4455 Genesee Street Buffalo, NY

The year prior I was employed by Calspan SRL Corporation as a software programmer using C, C++, Oracle, Windows, Networking, DOS, Motif, IPC, Excel, PowerPoint, Emacs, VI, and UNIX. I integrated visualizational tools such as OILSTOCK, XRT/Graph, XRT/Table, and Netmap.

COLLEGE HONORS: Who's Who Among American Students; National Dean's List.

VOLUNTEER WORK: Dunkirk Soup Kitchen
