* Through the implementation of processes and personnel training, I was able to make the Radio Holland Seattle a profitable office and in 2007 the branch was able to double its budget. This was achieved by creating a firm team environment, providing a strong technical backbone and demanding excellence in every aspect of the services provided. I was also able to cut the operational cost of the branch by 25% by monitoring all cost and negotiating new contracts with all the supply venders. Also, I supported the West Coast sales department in building project sales. Radio Holland Seattle sold, engineered and delivered the Deep Ocean Quest, Alucia, which was the largest single vessel project in RH USA history. Reported to the President.

Project Manager, (2002-2005)

Houston, Texas

* Created and managed the project management department that was responsible for the design, costing, and installation

for $10 million in projects over the last 3 years. During this time the project margins increased to more than 20%.

Responsibilities included the management of the project coordinators, AutoCAD operators, project technical personnel

and subcontractors. Also assisted sales in the design and presentation of projects to customers. Directly responsible

for the implementation of the I.M.O. required Voyage Data Recorder systems on the Holland America, Carnival, Celebrity,

and Wind Star cruise fleets. Reported to the C.E.O.

Service Manager, (2001-2002)

Kenilworth, New Jersey

* Managed the service department of the New Jersey branch of Radio Holland USA. By updating the invoicing and managing

inventory control I was able to increase the branch margins by 35%. Responsible for the coordination of the technical

personnel, invoicing, and materials management. Reported to the Branch Manager.

On-Site Project Manager, Worldwide, (1995-2001)

(Based out of Houston, Texas)

* Responsible for the installation and commissioning of numerous complete vessel electronic new build and retrofits

that included communications, navigational and alarm systems in the commercial shipping and offshore markets. Customers

include MSRC, Ahrenkiel, Shell, Rowan. Through customer relations, attention to detail, and realistic operator training,

all of the projects performed were successfully implemented within budget and with the customer’s approval.
