Marina Healy
PROFILE:
I am extremely passionate about all things fashion. I am a very driven 24
year old woman with a fun but very hard working attitude. I currently run a
boutique with my Mother/business partner Bernie, called Daisy in Galway
City, Ireland. We recently closed the store and are moving all business
online, website launching in Jan 2013. This has taught me a lot about the
trade, buying and management aspect of the fashion industry. I do all of
the buying for the store, visual merchandising and co manage it with
Bernie. We also employ another staff member who I manage. The business is
nearly two years in the running and we set up shop in the middle of one of
the biggest recessions Ireland has ever seen. Now that I have the business
up and running and can leave it to Bernie to fully manage, while keeping my
investment safe. I want to "spread my wings" and be in the depths of the
fashion world. My dream is to learn the trade and work in the heart of it
all. I have a huge interest in pr, styling and blogging. This is where my
fashion heart lies. I have the beginnings of my own blog which is
Fashionlandbymars.blogspot.ie. To achieve my goals I am willing to move
away from my own business and work as hard as I can. I want a challenge, a
learning experience and to make a significant contribution to a company
that can offer me the opportunity to do so.
