I was most recently employed with UC Davis as a TV Technician on a limited contract basis. Prior to
this I was employed at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) as the Campus Audio Visual
Technician. I worked at SAIC from 1999 to the August 2010 and at UC Davis in many capacities related to the
support maintenance, installation and repair of campus A/V resources. My interest in these endeavors is to
provide the best possible environment for students and faculty to present and communicate ideas and keep those
resources in optimal working condition.

August 2010-January 2011: Sr TV Technician. Installation of media systems and related equipment in
classrooms, troubleshoot, maintain and repair these systems; and provide instructional support to classrooms and
meeting spaces throughout the campus.
2009-2010: Campus A/V Technician. Management of student workers for installation, maintenance and repair
of classroom and Media Center A/V equipment. Scheduling of campus auditorium events. Assisted in the
design of new and renovated A/V installations including classrooms, ballroom, auditorium and student center.
Installation and support of A/V for gallery exhibits and special events. Installation of digital signage and lounge
A/V systems. Consultation for the acquisition of new A/V technologies for classrooms and Media Center A/V
equipment.
2006-2009: Classroom Service Coordinator / Facilities Coordinator. Management of student workers to
maintain and repair classroom and Media Center A/V equipment. Coordination of classroom facilities
maintenance between faculty and Operations department staff.
