• Planned/supervised test drilling, installation of monitoring wells, water & soil sampling, performance of slug tests, tracer test and monthly monitoring.

• Completed field characterization of chloride plumes, evaluated chloride mass loadings, annual infiltration rates and impacts in shallow subsurface under different urban conditions.

• Conducted hydrogeological surveys, designed/supervised installation of about 100 production wells (large/small) and successful rehabilitation of 25 wells.

• Evaluated groundwater resources and formulated long-term technical recommendations for national plans of 10 inter-mountainous valleys of NWFP province and 4 desert areas of Pakistan.

• Extensively involved in the project “Groundwater Investigations in Desert Areas of Pakistan” including deserts of Cholistan, Tharparkar, Nara and coastal belts Pasni and Gawadar. The remarkable results of the project were the discovery of a huge fresh groundwater body with volume of 10 km3 in Cholistan desert.

• Completed groundwater resources evaluation and salt water intrusion studies in coastal belts of Lasbella, Winder, Ormara, Pasni and Gawadar, Pakistan.

• Provided hydrogeological consultancy services, including investigations and installation of production wells to more than 30 industrial units in various parts of Pakistan.

• Carried out groundwater studies and established recommendations for safe groundwater development & protection as part of 12 engineering feasibility and planning projects in Pakistan.

• Designed a dewatering plan to a depth of 250 feet below ground level for a proposed power complex at Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project, Pakistan (US$2.5 billion project).

• Supervised the safe closure of 420 high capacity water wells (1 to 4 cusec) and installation of 200 new small private wells (0.5 cusec) in waterlogged areas of Indus Basin, Pakistan.

• Completed groundwater and modeling studies using MODFLOW to evaluate existing and post project groundwater conditions of four irrigation canals in Indus Basin.

• Assessed environmental impacts on groundwater from mega projects including “Disposal of Drainage Water in Evaporation Ponds” and “Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project”, Pakistan.
