Mechanical System Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience in designing, estimating, selling & servicing commercial / residential heating & air conditioning systems. I have installed the following Mechanical Systems in schools, factories, government buildings, libraries, nursing facilities, town halls, office buildings, restaurants & hotels and residential homes.
25 years - Boilers – Sectional, Fire Tube, Water Tube, Steam & Hot Water. Multi – Zone, Baseboard Systems, Fan Coil Systems, Radiant Systems, Domestic Hot Water Systems (indirect & direct), Gas and Oil Fired.
I have exceptional ability estimating these systems as well as a superior technical background, designing, diagnosing & analyzing the operation of these various systems. Proficient in operation knowledge to successfully solve technical problems, control costs, and eliminate inefficiencies. I have superior communication, technical knowledge to successfully explain the operation of these said systems to not only customers but colleagues as well.
Chillers, recip, centrifs, & absorbers
I have approximately 5 years’ experience servicing and replacing fan coil units, cooling towers, pumps, piping and controls. I sub contracted out the refrigeration units.
Controls, pneumatic & DDC
I have serviced & repaired pneumatic systems which have since been replaced with electrical / electronic operating systems. I have exceptional knowledge with zone control systems, programmable thermostats, dampers, valves, & variable air volume systems. I have installed & designed computer interfaced Honeywell HVAC control systems.
Program, commission & graphics
In numerous facilities I have personally worked with IT departments whereas we successfully stored data necessary to operate their HVAC system. My calculations for the HVAC system were programmed into the company’s database.
Packaged equipment / rooftop units
I have superior knowledge in selling, calculating, estimating, designing, installing and servicing new installations, retro – fit and replacements of packaged equipment / rooftop units. I have installed and designed numerous said systems using gas fired with air conditioning & heat pump with auxiliary heat. I also have extensive knowledge and experience in gas piping design, sizing and installation of these systems.
Heat Pumps
I have outstanding, superior knowledge in heat pumps to include dual fuel systems. I have sold, designed, calculated, estimated, installed & serviced packaged and split systems. These were installed in apartment complexes, office buildings, retail stores, restaurants to include commercial buildings.
Steam Generators

I was responsible for purchasing and comparing cost for goods through different suppliers and maintained invoices and job cost spreadsheets prior to forwarding paperwork to our accountant.
Performance contracting, energy improvements & savings justified retrofits
Manufacturer representatives would speak to me periodically to discuss & evaluate energy-saving opportunities, which were implemented. We updated or replaced equipment that was outdated and inefficient with newer, more efficient technologies. Our customers had higher-quality systems, fewer breakdowns and reduced maintenance.
Retro Commissioning
Retro-commissioning was implemented through our manufacturers and suppliers. They helped us to identify low-cost operational and maintenance improvements for existing buildings and construction. We focused and presented to our customer’s energy saving equipment and related controls which optimized the HVAC systems performance.
