In the sales field I have learned to identify customer needs and provide appropriate information. In the customer relations field I developed good problem solving skills, communication and listening skills to help satisfy customer needs. I am goal orientated and determined to find solutions that meet the goals of my employer, myself and above all the customer.
Qualifications
Operations Specialist - Ascensus – 2007 to present
As an operations specialist in the Individual K department, I have been responsible for but not limited to preparing 5500ez documentation, 1099R preparation, and annual valuation of plans in our department. I also receive, track, compute and distribute all documentation for loans and distributions that are requested by our clients, including required minimum distributions, hardships and all in-service distributions, as well as calculating and maintaining all payoff amounts on each loan taken. Keeping in contact with the partners to verify when these transactions have been completed is also a very important part of my job. I am responsible for processing terminations of plans that are no longer eligible for an individual 401k product and help them to either roll their money to an IRA or transfer the assets to other qualified plans. I help our client service department in providing the best information possible to any questions or concerns they may have. I review, enter and verify any information on new plans coming in for setup as well.
Mortgage Loan Consultant - Redwood Lending Corporation – 2003-2006
Responsible for speaking with my clients to find the best options for them in a home loan. Find the best loan type, interest rate, terms and at the same time giving them the best possible customer service I can give. Responsible for collecting client information, documentation, working with the Realtor on properties they may be interested in. Help in the processing of the loan, meet any and all conditions the lender may have and meet the client at the Title Company the day of close to insure there were no mistakes made and all information is correct.
Office Manager – Tranquility Builders, Inc. - 1999 - 2007
Duties include but not limited to Payroll processing, tax form preparation, bookkeeping, customer service, framing estimates, advertising and marketing, sales, billing, collections, contract agreements and all purchase orders done with the lumber yards.
Cellular Manager - Radioshack - 2001
Responsible for providing accurate service and product information, ordering service stock, tracking and ordering inventory. Managed radio and newspaper advertising promotions. Tracking customer credits, customer payments. Track and send customer repairs and rental returns. Also responsible for providing excellent customer service in all aspects of the job to all customers.
Retail Sales/Inventory Clerk - Nelson’s Nursery, Inc. - 1994 to 1998
Assisted customers with horticulture, landscaping, and entomology questions, as well as assisting customers in retail sales. Responsible for company inventory, shelf stocking, spring planting and propagation.
Education
2-year degree sales & management, near completion, St. Cloud Technical College. Eleven years general computer experience, strong computer skills, knowledge in excel, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, ACT!, Calyx Point, Encompass, and very Internet savvy. Worked 35-40 per week to pay for college expenses. Expected date of graduation within the next year. High School Diploma, graduated Princeton High School with Honors.
