To Whom It May Concern:
My experience and interests make me a good match for the producer position advertised on your site.
I have worked in the video production arena more than twenty-five years, producing and editing video. I’ve made corporate, marketing, nonprofit, and sports (but no wedding) videos. I have edited two nationally broadcast television shows: Inline America (a rollerblade show) and MSNBC’s The Site (with Soledad O'Brien). As the first program director at Ex’pression (a media college in Emeryville), I created the media sound and video curriculum and taught the A-list classes.
As the founder and owner of the media production company Stranded Starfish Productions, I budgeted, wrote, produced, shot, and edited broadcast, online, trade-road show media for clients such as Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, and Apple.
In short, I know budgeting, gear, and storytelling. I also know how to communicate with teams and partners. I would welcome the chance to find out more about the job.
Best regards,
