PROJECT NAME: AL MARJAN ISLAND DEVELOPMENT (UAE).

Project Description:-

Scope of works covers the construction of 10 kms(circular-double way) in al

marjan island. with carriageway of 6.70 mtrs. and 2.50 mtrs. shoulder. PCC

pavement including preparation of sub grade, sub base, crushed aggregate,

and bituminous stabilized base course. Construction of side ditch

rectangular section, CHB wall with concrete canal bottom. Construction of

subsurface drain, filter materials with perforated pipe, 0.15 m diameter.

Construction of stonemasonry catch wall and road realignment at one

section, concrete asphalt overlay of 10 kms., including prime, bituminous

tack coat and asphalt cement wearing and binder course etc..

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:- Responsible for all survey work pertaining to

site development plan such as:- .In-charge with the use of the major survey

instrument utilized in the field ..Establishment of horizontal and vertical

control points for fixed reference using necessary survey instruments

..Conduct topographic survey ..Profile and cross sectioning of areas

covered by site construction area to determine portion to be cut or fill

for preparation of monthly progress .

Providing data for monthly progress reports in connection with contractors

claim for payment. .Assist in checking/plotting the cross section for
