Work History:
• Hardin Memorial Hospital 2006- 2010 Phlebotomy, EKG monitor tech. Reason for leaving due to graduation from tech program and found tech position.
• Baptist Hospital East 2009- 2010 Blood bank, chemistry tech, ect… Reason for leaving was that it was third shift and I found a first shift position.
• Greater Louisville Internal Medicine 2010- 2011 Main technologist over 3 remote labs and 7 lab employees. Physician practice of ten doctors. Responsible for COLA inspections at all 3 locations and maintaining a staffed and productive lab facility. Reason for leaving a job offer that was better for my family.
• Rheumatology Associates 2011 to current. Lab Manager for elite group of doctors, largest rheumatology practice in the state of Ky. Including 5 employees and reference lab relationships.
Skills:
Ability to multitask and excellent management skills. I am great with people and technology. Have worked in all areas of the lab and in every department that I was trained in at school I have productively been involved in since the start of my career. I understand the relationships of internal lab staff as well as how it affects the external staff. I have used many types of Lab Information Systems. I have also worked alongside of many reference laboratories. I have experience and connect well with lab vendors and feel confident in my ability to take leadership when necessary.
