ACADEMIC WORK EXPERIENCE:
05/2009-08/2009 CHREC LAB-- NOVO-G (Adaptively Custom Research Supercomputer), UF, Gainesville, FL, USA
• Used Impulse C to develop a Video compression algorithm that reduces the time to design.
• Designed an algorithm that shows the speed up of 2900x while running 8x8 video frame in 2-FPGA.
• Developed the frame work in MPI to make it run on a supercomputer that features 96 FPGA.
03/2006-03/2007 PSG Tech Infineon Embedded System Lab, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Developed “Graphical LED display” with SIMD distributed memory architecture to provide expandability and reliability.
• Changeability of graphics is provided with the help of PC software.
• Optimized C coding in RIDE software that prevented the requirement of external memory for microcontroller.
• Awarded “BEST PROJECT” for the year 2008 and SILVER MEDAL by ROBERT BOSCH, India.
ACADEMIC PROJECT
10/2009-11/2009 Implementation of B-Tree using C++
Implemented the data structure B-tree in C++ to perform the insert, delete and search operations. In addition data structure was analyzed for the time and space complexity using random insertions and deletions.
10/2009-11/2009 Performance Comparison of Multipath AODV protocol implementations based on SINR and RSS measurements
In wireless ad-hoc network, path to destination based on SINR is compared with method based on link stability and hop counts
01/2009-04/2009 Video Compression with Parallel Processing implemented using different programming platforms
Video compression algorithm are implemented in various programming model such as MPI, UPC and SHMEM and found that UPC outperformed the other models in term of execution time, scalability and load balancing.
11/2008-12/2008 Instruction Set Simulator and Assembler using C++
01/2009-04/2009 An Efficient implementation of a 64-point FFT processor using cadence
12/2008-01/2008 Full Duplex I2C using VHDL
