Experience
Carter GM-Carter Credit Consultants: July 2007 to present
Finance Assistant
In this position I have gained valuable experience as an assistant for three sub-prime credit consultants, managing and following up with hundreds of customers using a CRM database. I create client portfolios for customers and discuss financial options to help the credit-challenged customer. My duties also include strategizing ways to reach finance goals with customers and developing creative solutions to get automobiles financed, as well liaising with the banks and lenders. In addition, I handle new applications, organize travel for employees across B.C., and participate in finalizing sales with clients. In this role, I prepare invoices and administer light bookkeeping via our Reynolds and Reynolds financial database. A major responsibility of mine in this position is to create and maintain lasting professional relationships with both bank and lender contacts, as well as with customers.
Carter GM-Used Cars: June 2006 to July 2007
Administrative Assistant
In this position I gained basic office skills by answering telephones, entering data, and updating the website for the used car sector of Carter GM. Among my duties were maintaining several financial and customer databases, commissioning deals for salesmen, arranging appointments, and setting up car showings with different departments. I also made promotional calls to customers telling them of offers and new stock. In addition, I designed and put in to use phone number list sheets and a stock card inventory stand that is still being used today.
The Guess Store: September 2005 to March 2007
Sales associate and Cashier
During my time at Guess I acquired excellent people skills. My main duty was to sell and project a brand image to prospective customers. In addition, I provided superb customer service by identifying customer needs and supplying them with fashionable, affordable solutions. My duties also included handling cash transactions, maintaining customer databases, as well as ensuring loss prevention and working as a team member in a competitive sales environment.
