• Worked with an application used by all employees to make changes to a DB2 database on IBM iSeries v6r1. The application is ongoing project developed in Visual RPG front end and RPG for the back end. The DB2 database would track members and dependents of various different insurance plans for specific clients.
• Worked on configuring client based computers on the company network.
• Created backup tapes of the DB2 database.
• Gained experience in Visual RPG and RPG to create a GUI for the end users. Learned about the different CL commands on the iSeries.
2008 – 2008 AT&T Middletown, NJ
• Worked on a project that uses C++ and a database to retrieve or delete specific networked facilities. The project went through different project phases where the waterfall model was used as software development lifecycle.
• Worked on a web based tool to help keep track of project managers coming in to the organization. The tool was done using PHP and MySQL to retrieve, add, update, and delete project managers.
• Gained experience using Java to generate an XML file to be used for integration testing.
