Description : This project was based on development of motor and property insurance solution for Allianz CP Thailand for new business, endorsement and renewal. It involved User Administration for external and internal users, screen label display as per language selected at the time of user login, report generation-individual policy bond and batch printing and underwriting rule configuration.

Description : This project was based on New Claims Management System to reduce the turn around time and to get rid of fraudulent claims, Integration of risk control unit for monitoring fraudulent ICs and increased user productivity by auto allocation of claim settlement cases. In this, cases were pushed automatically to user’s id so that idle time reduced.

Role : Independently held responsible for the designing of table structures, coding, unit testing and documentation.

Description : This project was based on a new system for integrated receipting, renewal pricing and renewal policy issuance for all the products-Mainly motor, health and property lines of business. It involved migration of web system from oracle forms, provisions to compare expiring policy details and revised invitation details. This project allows underwriters to take better decision in pricing and issuance based on past history of policy holder.

Description : This project was based on automation of reinsurance process along with policy, migration of Reinsurance Quarter calculation process to oracle from FoxPro and restructuring of daily unitization process for performance enhancement.

Description : This project was based on New Life Insurance products Development after IRDA approval based on product underwriting guidelines, rates and validations, Auto Black Box Underwriting (Auto BBU) after proposal quality check. Maintenance and support to data entry module, data entry mismatch module, quality check of proposal module, new business issuance module, AUTO BBU rule configuration module, medical empanelment module, quality check module before policy bond and customer partner module.

Role : Responsible for low level design, data modelling, coding, re-engineering and restructuring of existing undocumented code, unit testing, documentation, extended support for stabilizing the entire system after production release and provided training to users.

Significant Highlights

Major technical issues resolved – while working on reinsurance automation, came across with policies which are missed out during the quarterly extraction of reinsurance premium to reinsurers, those missed policies reinstated by customer will be eligible for claim but will not be eligible for reinsurance claim as missed to pay premium to reinsurers and this must have caused huge losses to company if policies not identified for reinsurance premium payment and claim occurred on those missed policies.

Undertook unique initiative - restructured daily unitization process for performance improvement, reduced complexity of code through restructuring. Automated and restructured reinsurance process for new product additions to make reinsurance process user friendly and configurable, reduced lines of code from 135689 to 23456 for reinsurance module

Undertook initiatives to execute projects on time and within budget – conducted periodic discussion with users to get the requirements crystal clear, put extra efforts to release project on agreed time if any unforeseen delay in project plan as per SDLC life Cycle.
