Implemented cycle count program for Florida Distribution Center currently still in place by company. Results after implementation of program, the inventory accuracy increased over 2% and finished at 99.68%.

Managed all inbound, customer returns, stock replenishment, and cycle count areas of the operations for nation’s largest contact lens distributor and South Florida Business Journal’s Company of the Year for 2009.

Managed and cross trained 25 employees in secondary job functions while being tracked with weekly metrics to monitor their progression.

Responsible for P&L portion of inbound business including monitoring and approving outbound freight bills, payroll, supplies. Sourcing and purchasing supplies for projects, including developing special designed products.

US Distribution Manager, September 2007 – March 2009

Oversaw entire distribution of product for European luxury watch company. Implemented procedures that ensured accuracy, efficiency, cost effectiveness for productivity measurables.

Monitored and coordinated all shipments from Geneva and Hong Kong. Requested and filed all CITES documentation for products containing leather, alligator, and lizard skin out of the United States.

Go Green transition made with recycled materials and dissolvable materials and personalized cards signed by the staff included in shipments. This improved customer perception of company’s vision towards personal attention and socially conscious matters.

Cut costs on excess storage centers by reconfiguring present facility. Re-designed workflow process and layout for warehouse’s operations to increase productivity and decrease delays.

Ran and controlled receiving dock, while monitoring unloads for nation’s largest alcohol distributor for number 38 largest privately owned companies on Forbes Top 100 list.

Coordinated shipments and container distribution for all off-site buildings, cross docks, and container yards. This increased warehousing and yard space, satisfied customer demands with great success and decreased overtime and demurrage charges on ocean and rail road containers to lowest levels since 1997.

Supervised 45 employees including all warehouse, office, and three off-site warehouses. As well as responsible for hiring, dismissing, and training of associates from staffing agencies.

Maintained a constant flow of production, as company doubled in sku's from 2005-2007. Conducted and supervised assigned inventory count team during month end inventories.
