1. Innovative Teachers Network (Version 2.x) : (Apr 2008 to till Date)

Client: Microsoft (Wirestone Vendor), Chicago,IL

Innovative Teachers Network is a portal built for Microsoft and deployed across many countries according to their needs and customization. The functionality of this portal is to share the knowledge and do collaboration between the teachers of the countries. We also performed Federated Search and Federation among the countries .We also migrated the existing Version of ITN 1.x to Version ITN 2.x with custom master pages and webparts using user controls. We used extensively the Features and solutions for deploying most of the webparts and master pages.

2. SBTech Knowledge Portal : (Nov 2007 to Feb 2008)

Client: Smith Barney Technology, Citigroup, New York, NY

This portal is designed & delivered for Smith Barney technology, to enhance the existing static HTML pages portal to dynamic ones. This enhancement provided with pages template and site template for their business units. Using the new publishing feature in Moss 2007, dynamic contents stored in a document library are rendered as dynamic pages on timely basis. This portal is a role based one. Based on the user entitlement and permission, dynamic menu fly-outs are generated and a user can contribute page, documents in the business units, if he/she is a part of contributor in that particular business unit.

This is a web portal done for Citi GWM to store their documents as repository in business units. We also did migration of the existing content from a database & documents from the file share in to SharePoint publishing pages and document libraries with version, check in, checkout and workflows for approval between the reviewer and approver. Apart from migration, we also provided an option to add the new records. We also integrated the search from this portal to be done using FAST search.

This portal also does maintenance of employee’s assessment. Assessment can be taken by the Internal/External candidate. All the details of an internal candidate are automatically fetched from the HR feed we receive on daily basis from the Mainframe using SFTP. We provide the user to key in details, if that candidate is an external one.

The lawyers can interact with each other, browse and discuss on topics related to their profession. This collaborative environment is built on SharePoint Portal Server.

UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life.

We designed and developed an portal infrastructure for UNDP that provided a knowledge sharing and collaborative environment to support the UNDP Regional Centers in Bangkok and Colombo and the Sub-Regional Center in Fiji. These Regional Centers provide Country Offices (COs) with advisory services and products based on research, lessons learnt and partnerships.

On numerous occasions, government customers have asked Microsoft to help them improve applications they have created on a Microsoft platform and share those more robust applications with other governments. In response to this request, Microsoft has created the Solutions Sharing Network (SSN), an online global initiative that aims to develop and share effective solutions while promoting increased collaboration among government organizations, academic institutions, and other public sector agencies.

The Microsoft-based SSN is:

11. LaserComp : (Jan 2004 to June 2004)

Client: LaserBeamsoftware LLC, Concord, CA

This is an HRM Application developed for HR compensation in an organization. Admin Part of this application is developed with window application and the user part of the application is a web based one. In this application there are four types of users (Admin, Analyst, Manager and Employee) can logon in to the application and do modeling for their employees. Employees can Logon and see their modeling done by their higher officials, Manager can logon and do modeling for their employees and send a request to approval for their higher officials. Analyst can do planning for a specific population assigned for him by the admin. From that population he can select a specific population and save it as a private or public group for modeling. Either he can model for a single employee or team modeling can be done. Admin has all rights for this application; he can do budgeting, planning, modeling, analyze and also he can take reports for all employees.

This is a web-based application for a Customer Relationship Product Development and Management. This application is developing for maintaining a good relationship between the customer and the client. In this product there are four kind of users, CRPDM admin, CRPDM user, Customer admin and Customer users. CRPDM admin can create user for their project and allocate resources for their project and similarly the Customer admin can create the users for the customers involving in the activities of the project. They can exchange their documents regarding the project and can also post and review the problems in the project. It also acts as document management and version control of the documents. Reports for problem hosting, management of documents, messages passed across the customer users and the CRPDM and Customer Admin can review CRPDM user. CRPDM admin is the super user and he got all rights to allocate and reallocate or to remove the users from the specific project and the phase and sub phase below that project.
