• Deployed upgrade patches; utilized different instances of databases in the process of developing Microsoft-SQL software. Installed, upgraded; maintained Cisco network intercommunication systems at LSU for New Orleans and Baton Rouge campuses.

• For Lockheed Martin, developed and taught the new personnel system, NSIPS, for the Navy Pay and Personnel System, integrating the legacy software with Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft SQL; a complex endeavor; successful due to personnel time management and attention to detail on all aspects of the job. Trained all of the Navy personnel in the field at 300 worldwide sites. This involved new hardware and software implementation, customer support, and trouble shooting skills at all competence levels.

• Construction of Facilities Program and Schedule Planning Engineer at Michoud Assembly Facility for NASA. As the lead electrical engineer, was responsible for a multitude of projects in all phases of construction for a company in the aerospace industry. Also participated in aerospace research, development and testing.

Jacob’s Technology, Inc, Stennis Space Center, MS, 2008-2010

Lead Electrical Engineer for the A and B Test Complex Installation Upgrade Team for Jacobs Technology reporting to NASA at Stennis Space Center. Independently responsible for the entire installation of the new $3 million dollar intercom system upgrade at both A and B test stands. Prepared and utilized configuration management tools; assisted configuration management activities by identifying actual field changes in order to redline drawings for the test complex. Prepared 70 discrepancy reports and resolved deficiencies in a timely manner for corrective maintenance activities. Prepared the TPS’s for the new intercom system. Interfaced with both NASA and Pratt Whitney Rocketdyne regarding technical activities and schedule. Provided daily status reports to my supervisor and staff. Met weekly with my NASA electrical lead responsible for the project. Extensive computer experience in writing, processing, and tracking SSC work authorization documents (WAD’s) with initiative and assertiveness. Planned and organized the daily operations in an efficient manner that put my project ahead of schedule and below cost; works well under stress and time constraints interfacing with NASA management. Developed plans and schedules to perform required work. Met with crew on a daily basis to review work for the next day as well as pass the development progress to upper Jacob’s management. Louisiana State University, New Orleans, LA 2000-2008

Network Telecommunications Electrical Engineer in the information technology services group. Configured, installed, and maintained new and existing Cisco routers and switches. For new construction projects, evaluated, tested, and created new plans, scope of work and procedures to implement the projects. Directed Facilities and contractors to complete projects accurately and timely. Provided first and second level support by resolving trouble tickets using the Track-It database and the NOC helpdesk system for customers quickly and efficiently, managing several diverse tasks in a volatile environment, while meeting deadlines successfully; supported the network for 14 state hospitals. Work included programming in the PeopleSoft Financial Group, where I developed a new Microsoft SQL Inventory Reorder Report to retrieve batch levels in inventories at all campus hospitals. Resolved helpdesk tickets between the super-user and the customer created a more efficient system that cut costs for the hospital inventory system.

LOCKHEED MARTIN, New Orleans, LA 1996-2000

Led troubleshooting Electrical Engineer for a government contractor reporting to the NAVY. Project management duties included organizing tasks effectively to ensure project success, in a team

environment, which required good communication skills; oral & written, as well as demonstrating troubleshooting skills. Coordinated efforts between the PeopleSoft Programmers, the Deployment Team, the Oracle DBA’s, the Windows DBA’s, Training, and Test Groups. Administered client/server configuration, network topology, software application load and utilization, shared devices, workgroups, and electronic mail accounts. Created yearly Performance reviews, weekly status reports, daily action items, and daily Discrepancy Reports. Tested the new proprietary software. Wrote and taught the “Train the Trainer” Module to instruct 300 servicemen to use the program. Performed troubleshooting after the system was deployed in the field. Electrical Engineer working in the aerospace industry for NASA at the Michoud Assembly Facility. Identified safety and engineering requirements, created scope of work and implemented projects within a given construction budget safety constraints, and schedules. Participated in program, design and safety reviews. Coordinated 17 factory/office equipment and space relocations, transferred ownership between various department managers. Prepared and presented a plan to relocate the Technical Operations Library and equipment to a more accessible location for the engineers. Redesigned the "Special Events Room" for upper management's use at MAF.
