Test Engineer Designed, built, and programmed a wide variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and vision systems using PLC based control systems and a variety of HMI’s at multiple plant locations. Designed and built test equipment for life and reliability testing up to millions of cycles.
Mid South Industries 1984-2002
Maintenance Supervisor
Supervised a crew of 11 industrial electricians and 9 mechanics to provide maintenance coverage for three shifts of productions in a metal stamping facility. Heavily involved in the automation of various processes at multiple plant locations to improve production efficiency and quality such as robotic welding and automated assembly and testing. As the primary contact point between engineering and maintenance departments helped insure continuous production capability with an aggressive preventative maintenance program and rapid response to equipment problems.
